Welcome to Charlotte BMX: Charlotte BMX is a volunteer organization that was founded over 15 years ago by Pete and Maria Taylor of Taylor Contractors of Florida. We have riders of all ages and skill levels. Beginners get to practice and train with national and world class riders. We encourage you to visit our facility. Come join the most exciting sport in town.
Hours:
State Season Hours (Jan. 1-May 31)
Wednesday - practice at 6 p.m. and race at 7:30 p.m. (single race, points only)
Sunday - practice at 2 p.m. and race at 4 p.m
(double races)
*State season points begin Nov. 1st but due to the holidays, we will not start our state season hours until January 1st.
Summer Hours: (June 1-Dec. 31)
Wednesday - practice at 6pm and if we have enough riders we will race at 7:30pm.
Sunday - practice at 4 p.m. and race at 6 p.m. (single trophy race)

Attire:
You must wear long pants, long sleeves, and a full face helmet. We do rent helmets for $1 per day. We have rental bikes for $5 per day but these are limited and rent out fast so we suggest that you bring a bike from home.
Membership fees:
$50 per year which gives you acces to any NBL sanctioned track in the U.S. and a year's subscription to BMX Today. See registration for family discounts and further details.
Race Prices:
$7 for a trophy race
$5 for points only
$6 for ribbon race
$3 for practice
$12 for double races

2010 State Season:
This year the Florida State Season will run from November 1, 2009 - April 30, 2010. The first pair of Qualifiers were part of the 2009 Florida Summer Series Championship Race weekend. Saturday's Championship Race also counted as Qualifier 1 of the 2010 State Season. Qualifers 3 & 4 take place in Jacksonville January 16-17, with Okeeheelee hosting Qualifers 5 & 6 February 27-28. May 1-2 Highlands BMX is in the spotlight for the final pair of double point races, Qualifers 7 & 8. This year's Championship Race is heading to Cape Coral on Saturday, May 15th. The Awards Ceremony will be held May 16th. Check out floridabmx.com for additional information and flyers.




Charlotte BMX will be celebrating our 20th anniversary on Sunday 2/21/2010. We will have a quadruple regional points race. Practice at 2pm and race at 4pm. Cost is $7 per rider and it will be for points only. We will run a second race for $5 and it will start shortly after the first race is over. More details to follow......
Practice will be from 6-7pm on those Wednesdays for $2. If you practice and do the clinic it is $5 and if you practice, do the clinic and race, it is $7. Race will start at 7:30pm.
